“Two years ago, my wife Jackie and I met Pradeep on a gravel bar in Alaska’s Katmai National Park while photographing fishing bears on a windy afternoon. That chance encounter turned into something truly special.

Our journey to India with Wildcat Odyssey was nothing short of extraordinary. I never imagined that one day I would see a wild tiger in its natural habitat—let alone experience the incredible landscapes, wildlife, culture, and hospitality of India.

Over the course of the trip, we explored three national parks and a leopard reserve, enjoyed exceptional food and comfortable accommodations, and experienced some of the finest wildlife encounters imaginable. The organization, guiding, and hospitality provided by Pradeep and the Wildcat Odyssey team were simply outstanding.

We are deeply grateful to Pradeep, Kapil, and Arpit for creating such a memorable experience. What they shared with us truly felt like the trip of a lifetime—perhaps even ten lifetimes. One unforgettable highlight was an incredible encounter with the tigress Bijli in Tadoba National Park.

This journey was so remarkable that we are now planning to make India an annual destination through our Focus Photo Tours. I sincerely hope that more people will have the opportunity to experience the magic of India’s wildlife with Wildcat Odyssey.”
