Expedition Highlights
Prime Snow Leopard Habitat (Spiti Valley – Kibber Region)
Venture deep into the high Himalayas, where stark cliffs, frozen valleys, and endless ridgelines form the domain of the elusive snow leopard. March offers peak visibility as predators descend to lower elevations, dramatically improving sighting opportunities.
Unhurried, Purpose-Driven Exploration
With a small group and multiple vehicles, we maximize flexibility—spending long hours scanning ridgelines, following fresh signs, and patiently observing wildlife behavior without pressure or rush.
Expert Local Trackers & Naturalists
Work alongside seasoned local spotters and guides whose deep understanding of terrain, movement patterns, and winter behavior significantly enhances your chances of meaningful encounters.
Photography-Focused Support
• One dedicated porter per participant for camera gear
• Maximum motorable access to minimize physical strain
• Time and positioning prioritized for ethical wildlife photography
Ideal for serious photographers seeking rare, story-driven frames.
High-Altitude Winter Living (Comfort with Honesty)
Stay warm in carefully selected village homestays and lodges equipped with tandoori heaters and electric blankets, offering comfort and safety amid extreme winter conditions.
Beyond the Snow Leopard
The region is also home to Himalayan blue sheep (bharal), red fox, Tibetan wolf, Himalayan ibex, golden eagle, lammergeier, and other high-altitude specialists—making each day rich with possibilities.
Responsible & Ethical Expedition
This journey supports local communities, ethical tracking practices, and conservation awareness in one of the planet’s most fragile ecosystems.
